1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Greenland Assurance platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Greenland Assurance provides an evidence assembly infrastructure designed for arbitration counsel and risk specialists. The Service includes:

• Chronology building and timeline assembly tools
• Evidence mapping and source linking functionality
• Document ingestion and normalization
• Time Pack generation and export capabilities
• Provenance tracking and audit logging

3. User Accounts

To access certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• Maintain and promptly update your account information
• Maintain the security of your password and account
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

4. Subscription and Payment

Access to the Service requires a paid subscription. By subscribing, you agree to:

• Pay all fees associated with your selected plan
• Provide valid payment information
• Authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis
• Accept that fees are non-refundable except as required by law

We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice. Continued use of the Service after price changes constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any laws
• Upload, transmit, or distribute any malicious code or harmful content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
• Use the Service to infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others
• Resell, sublicense, or transfer your access to third parties without authorization

6. Intellectual Property

Our Intellectual Property: The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Greenland Assurance and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

Your Content: You retain ownership of any content you upload to the Service. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to process, store, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

7. Confidentiality

We understand that you may upload sensitive and confidential information to the Service. We commit to maintaining the confidentiality of your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We will not access your content except as necessary to provide the Service, respond to support requests, or comply with legal obligations.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE. THE SERVICE IS NOT INTENDED TO PROVIDE LEGAL ADVICE, AND ANY OUTPUTS SHOULD BE REVIEWED BY QUALIFIED LEGAL PROFESSIONALS BEFORE RELIANCE.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GREENLAND ASSURANCE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS PAID BY YOU FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Greenland Assurance and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. You may export your data within 30 days of termination.

12. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, unless otherwise agreed in writing. For enterprise clients, disputes may be resolved through arbitration under ICC rules.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by posting the updated Terms on our website and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
